Who they are
Jim Williams is a Hampton Roads real estate broker who started his own brokerage and leads a team of agents. The firm now operates as Atlantic Connection Real Estate.
Challenge
Jim was an associate broker ready to go out on his own, with no business established yet. He needed a professional site for himself and his team, but cost and upkeep both had to stay low while the business got going.
Solution
I built a WordPress site with a simple IDX integration to the REIN multiple listing service, so visitors could search local listings. For the team directory I used the WordPress media library: each agent’s photo links to a page with their details and phone number, with no extra plugin needed.

Keeping it sustainable
The agent roster doesn’t change often, so I chose the media library over posts, pages and custom loops. It does exactly what’s needed, and there’s no plugin to maintain or keep updated. I still provide ongoing support.
Results
The site created a brand for Jim’s new brokerage and gave it a professional presence from day one. It has since been rebranded as Atlantic Connection Real Estate.
