Julianne’s Piano Studio

A brand-new home piano studio, launched with a brochure, a logo, a website and a calendar students could subscribe to. See the site ↗

Who they are

Julianne’s Piano Studio offered piano lessons from a dedicated studio space at home. The studio has since closed.

Challenge

It was a brand-new business with a new studio space and no online presence. Students were finding her mainly through word of mouth, and she needed to attract new customers.

Solution

I created the complete brand identity and marketing plan, starting with the logo. Because she had no website yet, I began with a printed tri-fold brochure she could hand out for referrals. Through my print production relationships I was able to provide the brochures at little to no cost to her. I then built the website and set up a Facebook presence. Her lessons followed a school calendar, so I added a Google Calendar that students could subscribe to and see their lesson schedule and any changes.

Keeping it sustainable

Students subscribed to the calendar once, and schedule changes appeared automatically, with no mailings and no re-sending of updates.

Results

She filled every available space right away and kept a waitlist for new students every year. Referrals picked up immediately, because customers could point people to the website and Facebook page to find her.
